Feeding
Their food is characteristic of an herbivorous, ruminant species. Depending on the sex, age and time of year they eat the grass, bushes and fruits that are available to them.
The females are usually more selective, preferring, as do the young individuals, to eat grass and young shoots from bushes.
On the other hand, the males prefer to browse on the branches of trees, and in particular they like acorns, berries and young shoots from all types of trees and shrubs.
