The Tortosa-Beceite mountains, equidistant between Valencia and Barcelona (200 kilometres aprox), are a natural crossroads lying within the Autonomous Communities of southern Catalonia, the northern part of the Community of Valencia and eastern Aragon, and are located in three different provinces: Tarragona, Castellón and Teruel. They comprise an area that was formerly the ancient Kingdom of Aragon and where, according to legend, the three kings of the region used to meet on the famous Pic dels Tres Reis.
